Hi everyone, welcome to The Astrology Group! I didn't realize this group would grow so quickly. My intention was to save the name for an exciting astrological group to open and become active sometime in the future. Since there are so many of us, I thought I'd start by opening discussions where we can all participate and learn from each other. I'm here to answer questions, and give insights, so please feel comfortable to ask questions if you are unsure about a topic, and to open your own discussions.
Where is Uranus transiting in your natal chart? Uranus just ingressed into Taurus and will be shaking things up, making changes, bringing new insights and break-throughs in all that Taurus stability for the next 7 to 8 years. Since Uranus represents those things considered different, strange, unique, and unusual to mainstream consciousness, it is my opinion that Uranus is the modern ruler of Astrology. And, since Taurus represents the most fixed and set ways of society in general, it seems the merging of these two ingredients will make for quite a stir. It feels like a good time to start a solid Astrology Group under the auspices of Uranus’ new home in Taurus!

It’s in my 12th it’s been there for a while since Aries and Taurus cover my 12th house ...it’s currently squaring my mercury in my 9th Aquarius, also soon it with conjunct my natal Mars in Taurus and in about a week it will trine my natal Uranus in my 8th Capricorn |

Noemi, having a Taurus Ascendant and using whole sign houses, Uranus is transiting your 1st house! This is going to be big! This is where you find out all about what makes you, you! You're going to experience things that make you realize your own uniqueness. With Uranus squaring your natal Mercury, in your 10th whole sign house, conjuncting your 1st house Mars, are you thinking about changing careers or making some kind of sudden change or move that may affect your finances? I love that you have the planet for Astrology, Uranus, in the house of Astrology (9th whole sign). Thanks for sharing!

Hi Vivan, that means that transiting Uranus would be entering your 10th house of career, if you are using whole sign houses? If so, you might be getting new technology in your career, or changing careers, doing something unique with it, or implementing and innovating it... Sounds exciting! As the 11th house is about friends, groups, and associates that you can relate to, and transiting Uranus will be stimulating your natal Uranus in the 9th house. The 9th house is the home of Astrology! Natal Uranus (Modern ruler of Astrology) in Aquarius (Open to Unique Ideas) in the 9th (Home of Astrology)... No wonder you are interested in this subject! |

The 9th house is the home of Astrology! Natal Uranus (Modern ruler of Astrology) in Aquarius (Open to Unique Ideas) in the 9th (Home of Astrology)... No wonder you are interested in this subject! I will try to be at the meeting later this month. I recently bought the book "Llewellyn's New A to Z Horoscope Maker and Interpreter." I have found this book very helpful, although there are a myriad of other resources. I have another book on composite and another on relationships. I do feel like I have been drawn to studying astrology. My goal in my astrological studies is to give insightful readings and to help others to understand what is possible in their lives and how to overcome baggage from past lives and present karma. Cool, so your natal Uranus (modern ruler of astrology) is in the 9th house of Astrology, and transiting Uranus is visiting your natal Mercury (ruler of your 4th and 7th) and natal Jupiter (ruler of your 1st and 10th) in your 3rd house of communications! Sounds like big stuff! Uranus is going to be conjuncting your angle rulers! No wonder you are so good with the written word. Both your angle rulers are residing in the 3rd house of communications! |

Uranus is transiting my 5th house and it sits natally in my 8th cancer Well, now that I've seen your chart, I am going to say that Uranus is transiting your 7th house (Whole Sign) and you are going to have some excitement or disruption, but especially surprises and changes in your one-on-one relationships. It should be pretty important, particularly when Uranus gets closer to your Ascendant, but that's a long way off. Being an angular outer planet transit affects all areas of your life, but especially your partnerships, and how you relate and interact with others. Because your natal Uranus is conjunct Jupiter in the 9th by Whole Sign opposing your Sun exactly, and squaring your Moon/Neptune conjunction in the 12th, I can see why this is a monumental time for you. This can affect your belief system, career, finances, communication style, and maybe bring about some painful revelations or health issues. It seems like you would have undergone these major events over the past several years when Uranus was activating your T-square at around 25° Aries, and filling in the missing corner of your T-Square and turning it into a Grand Square configuration. You have a very tight, impactful, and strong configuration. I think Mars on the Aries' point at the 6th house cusp, ruling your Ascendant packs quite a statement also! |

That all turned out to be horribly correct Susan, as I broke up with my long term (14 years) BF yesterday. You use whole sign houses which, as you said, points to changes in on-on-one relationships, I use Placidus which would have a similar meaning with 5th house the house of romance amongst other things, so either way it got me. The eclipses were the beginning of the end  Yes i've often looked at that Mars on the Aries point and wondered why one earth i'm so passive, to the point of being invisible in the real world, but that's going off on a tangent from the Uranus transit theme. Regarding your Aries point Mars, one of the reasons it is "invisible" is that it went into the 6th house which does not have access to the Ascendant which would create visibility. The other reason is that it has no aspects leading to either an outlet through the Ascendant, nor the Midheaven. The only aspect it makes is to the nodes which suggests there's something there which is important to learn from the past and share in this lifetime. It seems it would have something to do with communication and the dissemination of knowledge, as Mars is the Exalted ruler of your 3rd house North Node. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk |
