Hi everyone, welcome to The Astrology Group Forum! I didn't realize this group would grow so quickly. My intention was to save the name for an exciting astrological group to open and become active sometime in the future. Since there are so many of us, I thought I'd start by opening discussions where we can all participate and learn from and about each other. I'm here to answer questions, and give insights, so please feel comfortable to ask questions if you are unsure about a topic. And, feel free to open up your own discussion forums. Okay, let's get the sharing started!

Let's start by introducing ourselves by sharing our Sun, Moon, and Ascendant placements. If you do not know yours, just ask for assistance and I will try to help. After listing your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant, please give a brief description as to how these placements have defined you. We will not go into rulerships, aspects, or houses in this discussion. We will start things off very simple, and I will use myself as an example...

My Sun and Ascendant are both in Libra, and my Moon is in Cancer. My Libra Sun and Ascendant show my core being and outward expression is all about relating to others, working to find balance, harmony, and peace in all my interactions. Fairness and justice are my cornerstones. These priorities are extremely important to me, but can work against me if I am unaware of my tendency to yield to others too easily and lose sight of my own needs. My Moon in Cancer makes me sensitive to the energy environment around me, and the emotions of others. It also makes me compassionate and empathetic, but physically drained by emotional upsets.

Susan I would say I love beautiful nice things yet with Aquarius being my sun it makes me unpredictable, humanitarian

My sun is in Scorpio. It represents a reserved energy. Also it represents intense expression and has hints of transformation and rebirth. My moon is in Virgo. It represents demanding emotional tendencies. It is also representative of female archetypical energy. Can be instinctually analytical and selfless. Both sun and moon represent reserved energies. My ascendant is Gemini, the opposite sign of Scorpio. Sociable, flighty and clever. It seems like my base nature and feelings are deep and intense but my self expression is light and sociable. I see myself as a natural multitasker, I worked in food service for around three years and found myself naturally drawn to waiting tables. Thanks

I don't know too much about reading the aspects yet.My mercury is in Scorpio as well. I do know that mercury and sun in the same sign intensify each other.

Hi Elvis! Yes, astrology is a fascinating subject and spiritual people are drawn to it. I think that Astrology, and it's creator God, picks exactly who will be drawn to it and spirituality is a prerequisite!

LOL, well Noemi, you must have been made stubborn for a reason... Maybe you will be presented with situations where being stubborn will be important. Having your Sun in the 10th house of Aquarius speaks to having independence in your career, and trining your Moon in the 6th speaks to your needs and wants working nicely together in your work, particularly with relating and serving others. Maybe you stand up for other people's rights, using your humanitarianism and holding your ground against injustices...
